About Us

Dominion in Christ International Ministries (DICIM) is a non-denominational church serving Mississauga and the Greater Toronto area. This passionate body of Spirit-filled believers has a mandate to empower people to live above life’s circumstances.  DICIM is an independent church but our worship style is Pentecostal. We preach the Full Gospel, embracing the Word of Faith and the operation of the gifts of the Spirit.

Dominion in Christ was born out of an intense desire in the hearts of Pastors Carlene and Dwight Bryan to see believers walk in the plan of God for us to take dominion over the earth. God wants us to be blessed to be a blessing. Dominion, more than just being a nice name for a church, is a mandate from God himself and revelation whose time has come.

We are about making a difference in the lives of Christians. This is not just for a select few who are “specially anointed of God”, but for everyone who will dare to believe. We are a church where people can be real with one another. This is about speaking openly and honestly without harboring resentment. DICIM is a center to heal the hurting, the broken and the bruised.

Here church is fun without compromising the integrity of God’s word. Our worship is dynamic and the music contemporary. This is a ministry for the entire family. You are never too young or too old to be a part of what God is doing! Opportunities are made available to use whatever gifts and talents you possess to be a blessing to others while finding personal satisfaction and fulfillment.

At Dominion in Christ International Ministries, we strive to create an atmosphere where individuals are mentored, trained and released into ministry according to their calling and gifting. The tone of the ministry is one of openness and integrity. This means not only saying the right things but also leading by example.

We challenge you to hold us accountable to deliver on the things which we have put in writing as well as declared from the pulpit!

Rev. Dwight Bryan & Rev. Carlene Bryan

Rev. Dwight Bryan is the senior pastor and co-founder of Dominion In Christ International Ministries in Mississauga, Ontario. A native of Jamaica, Pastor Dwight migrated to Canada to pursue post graduate studies. It was then that he made the decision to accept Jesus as his Lord and personal saviour. Active involvement in the work of the ministry and solid mentor ship allowed him to grow rapidly in the Lord while touching many lives.

Some of the roles that Pastor Dwight initially took on included being an intercessor and a cell group leader which led to him becoming a pastor responsible for over a dozen such home groups. During a brief period between jobs in 1995 he made his first visit to minister to inmates at the Metro West Detention Centre in Toronto. This sparked a passion which still burns brightly today as he continues to reach out to those who find themselves incarcerated.

Over the years Pastor Dwight has had the opportunity to serve in various capacities in churches of all sizes across the Greater Toronto Area. This has given him the opportunity to minister to many who have been bruised and hurt. It is this heart of compassion and the desire to see believers live up to their full God-given potential that fuels his passion as he responded to the call of God to launch Dominion In Christ International Ministries.

Pastor Dwight received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from University of the West Indies as well as an MBA in Finance from York University’s Schulich School of Business. His qualifications include being a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He has a bachelor's degree in theology and is an ordained minister with the Apostolic Church of Pentecost of Canada. Pastor Dwight and his wife Carlene have three children and reside in Brampton, Ontario.

Rev. Carlene Bryan is a Jamaican born high school teacher who serves as senior pastor and co-founder of Dominion In Christ International Ministries. She grew up “on the wrong side of the tracks” in the economically depressed neighbourhood of August Town. It was this environment that helped to forge her character and indomitable fighting spirit. She went on to graduate from teacher’s college as well as earn both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of the West Indies.

She got saved at an early age and later rededicated her life to the Lord after she migrated to Canada to join her husband. An advocate for the underdog and the downtrodden, Pastor Carlene has always been one to speak up for the less fortunate and those without a voice. She has been often misunderstood for her outspokenness and non-traditional approach. From these experiences springs a heart of compassion that she brings to her ministry whether it is in the pulpit or in the prisons.

Over the years home cell groups, intercessory prayer, youth ministry and the performing arts have been some of the areas of ministry focus for Pastor Carlene. Her greatest joy is to pray for others and see them set free from the oppression of the enemy. She has also become widely known for her stand-up comedy routines where she delivers Bible-based messages with an engaging Jamaican patois style.

Pastor Carlene, an ordained minister with the Apostolic Church of Pentecost of Canada, also holds a bachelor of theology degree. She ministers alongside her husband Dwight as she balances the roles of being a pastor, teacher, wife and mother of three.
